Expectations???

Hello everyone..... i was surfing through anuj's blog yesterday and came across a very interesting topic.....he'd asked a question.......the question was....

Who is entitled to expect?
I mean, who is entitled to expect something in lieu of some good deeds/actions? Is it wrong to expect something good in return for your good actions? Why is it so tough to detach yourself? Why is it so tough not to expect even when you deserve it?
Why do people hide behind the garb of lies when simple truths can be clearer than water?

At first i was amazed..... the guy thinks quite the same as i think......
I tried to throw some light on this....... i answered him and i am seeking ur comments on this one.... am i correct? do you agree with me or do u think in a different way?

My answer:

You said about the policy of expecting good.... the bhagavad gita, one of the best philosophies ever tells us not to expect anything from anybody even if you did the best for him/her!! You say people are selfish…isn’t expecting selfish?
I’d recommend you to read the bhagavadita so that wenever you are left perplexed by the ways of the world... you can look upon a saviour!

Insecurities reside in everybody's heart...don't they?
but i think our outlook toward them have changed, we look for momental satisfaction! nobody has the patience these days! do u have it? do i have it? i don't think so!
maybe if someone has that much patience...he'd be a saint somewhere in the Himalayas !
the present way of life has changed everyone's outlook.
No one wants the truth..... truth hurts!!
Short cuts ,instant gratification....that's what its all about these days, and they aren’t achieved without trampling someone(that’s the mentality).. so the only way to make up is to please him/her for we cannot compromise on our own needs.
Everyone’s fake … it’s a mask they put to fool you… accept it and live with it.
Everybody’s selfish in one way or another… aren’t you? Am I not?
Its an onus for everybody to help you. Everyone needs you to pay back. It’s a give and take relationship.
You want people to change?? Ask yourself… are you willing to change?? Are you willing to take the long dark road which leads to light or do you prefer a shortcut yourself? What’s your idea of change? What’s your idea of sacrifice? Question yourself and you’ll see….. salvation lies within!!

Even we shared the same feelings but once you get to know him…. You’ll find that even his heart is as huge as he is. A very good natured person. Shareer haathi ka hai par dil chinti ka hai. Craves new technologies…. Get’s all the stuff imported!! FOREIGNER kahi ka. Somebody tell him that he has not got Indian citizenship and so he does not have the right to speech…….. now we can slap him whenever he swears!!

Once I remember he sat on a bullet and even it seemed like a Moped .
By the way nice still we have here of him…. It’s one of the chosen ones.
I know he’ll thank me! I like this guy very much… who does not like a big,cuddly stuffed bear?? I still remember at lake at 12:30 am that lethal blow…. I can’t forget ur face expressions man! Honest mistake though! But again sorry for that! Once you get to know him……… I’m sure u’ll enjoy every moment spent with him to your heart’s content like all of us here!! Great going fatty!! Pathankotia as we all call him
Lot of names for him
Parfessar calls him dhoopi kutta or in short dhoopi due to his constant urge for basking in the sun.
Another name is phone booth because he’s always on phone with his gf.
This guy …. I came to know in 4th sem. Before that his existence was zero for me.
Since then we’ve become best of friends… had to be!!! His nature is too good.
And the guy’s very helpful…. Though calculations regarding money are not meant for him. This we got to know when we went for rendezvous at IITD. He’s always “overbudgeted”.
He has something for branded clothing……same here!! We can’t compromise on how we carry ourselves!!
And the guy’s is so damn crazy to the extent that if u say that the jean he’s wearing is not good…….. he’ll stop wearing it and in 2 or more days he’ll be out shopping for the jean. I know it!! Personal experience!!
You can definitely count on him…… he’s not the one who’s gonna leave you in the middle of road… he’ll accompany you if he’s started walkin with you even if it leads to hell. Rest about his favourite lines….”haraamzaadgiyan nai karniya”
And he’s a rapper when it comes to verbal slugging!! No one can beat him at it.

It’s that just some things are common between us and its inevitable to separate our characteristics on those things.
Another common thing is “tharki murga”…. Well all those who’ve been with us to 11 sector can relate to it….rest of u can read further.
Another thing I like the most about him is that he’s so naive.
His major problem in life is constipation….. he’s the man who has to try too hard!! But not in case of girls!! He knows what I’m talking about. Haha.
For his friends he’s the best companion!
